RAVI KUMAR PONAKAMPALLI The Court made the following: 3 ORDER: The instant writ petition has been filed by the petitioner under Article 226 of Constitution of India seeking the following main prayer: “ to issue order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus to declare the action of the respondents in not giving promotion to the petitioner for the post of post Graduate Teacher (Science) on par with his juniors in spite of he is eligible and qualified to hold the post of post Graduate Teacher (Science) as on the date of promotions and not considering the representation of the Petitioner dated 22-1-2016, as illegal, arbitrary and to pass….” 2. No representation for the petitioner. 3. While the matter is taken up for hearing, Ms. T. Lakshmi Padmaja, learned Standing Counsel for the 2nd respondent, has passed on the proceedings dated 19.02.2019 issued by the Secretary (FAC), Gurukulam, Amaravathi, A.P., whereunder the petitioner, placed at Sl. No. 10, namely Sri A. Trimurti Naidu, was promoted as Junior Lecturer in the time scale of pay of Rs. 37,100–91,450/- (as per RPS, 2015). Further, the learned Standing Counsel for the 2nd respondent has passed on the proceedings dated 11.06.2024 issued by the Project Officer & Additional District Magistrate, ITDA, Parvathipuram, stating that the petitioner died on 06.05.2021 while he was in service. It is also stated that the petitioner’s wife, 4 namely Smt. Rowthu Priyanka, was appointed as Junior Assistant in the 2nd respondent Society under the compassionate category. 4. Copies of the proceedings dated 19.02.2019 and 11.06.2024, passed on by the learned Standing Counsel for the 2nd respondent, are taken on record and made part of the Court record. 5. Recording the said submissions, this Writ Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
