It is submitted by Ms. T. Jini, learned Additional Public Prosecutor that despite being given a chance, the present petitioner failed to appear before the I.O and his statement is not available in the Case Diary. In that context, Mr. Tangang, learned counsel for the petitioner, submitted that despite his efforts, they could not contact the present petitioner and in spite of his directions, the present petitioner failed to appear before the I.O. Accordingly, he submitted that he does not wish to press the present petition further and seeks to withdraw the same. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for both sides, the present petition is disposed of on withdrawal.
