This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “…to issue a Writ, Order or Direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the 4th Respondent in considering the representation dated 08.01.2025 relating to mutation of lands in Sy.No.12/5 admeasuring an extent of 0.55 cents and in Sy.No.70/7 admeasuring an extent of 0.43 cents at Bhakrapuram revenue village of Chitvel Mandal, Annamayya District as illegal, arbitrary, and in violation of Article 14 and 300-A of the Constitution of India and contrary to provisions of A.P Rights in land and Pattadar Passbooks Act, 1971 and consequently direct the 4th Respondent to mutate the name of the Petitioner in revenue records by considering and disposing the representation dated 08.01.2025 forthwith and pass such other order…” 2. Heard the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is in possession of the land an extent of Ac.0.55 cents in Sy.No.12.5, an extent of Ac.0.43 cents in Sy.No.70/7 at Bhakrapuram Village, Chitvel Mandal, Annamayya District. After the demise of her mother, the petitioner has submitted a representation dt.31.03.2022 to the 4th respondent through Mee-seva application, vide application No.FMC bearing No.GWSB62893621, for mutation of her name in the revenue records relating to the subject land, but so far not considered the -4- W.P.No.29502 OF 2025 Date of order:04.12.2025 representation and again the petitioner filed another representation on 08.01.2025. Despite receipt of the same, the respondents have not considered or passed orders. 4. The learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents has submitted that as per the provisions of the ROR Act, the authorities will consider the representation/ Form-6A application submitted by the petitioner and they will pass appropriate orders after giving notice to the concerned persons. 5. Considering the above submissions made by both the learned counsel, the writ petition is disposed of at the stage of admission, directing the respondents, particularly 4th respondent, to consider the representation/ Form-6A application made by the petitioner on 31.03.2022 as per the provisions of the ROR Act and also by pursuing the relevant records submitted by the petitioner, and pass appropriate orders within six (06) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
