(Oral) The petition has been filed inter alia seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioners, who are working as Principals, for further promotion as HES-I Officers. 2. Learned State counsel has received instructions from the second respondent vide memo dated 23.07.2025 which is retained on case file as Annexure ‘A’. It is to the following effect: That the department vide letter no.4/7-2022 HRG-I (2) dated 20.06.2025 has prepared a tentative seniority list of ‘Divyang’ Principals which has been circulated in the field offices for calling objections and other relevant documents. The copy of the order dated 20.06.2025 is attached herewith as Annexure R-1. That after receiving the objections, provisional seniority list of handicap principals would be prepared and after finalization of the above-said seniority list of PwD Principals, further cases under the PwD category would be called and further promotion to the post of BEO's, Deputy DEO's and DEO's would be made accordingly. The petition is accordingly disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioners for promotion as per rules within three months after finalising the seniority of PwD Principals.
