Mr. Vivek Kumar Singh, learned advocate appears on behalf of Union of India. 2. Petitioner has sought release of his passport. He relies on order dated 1st March, 2025 made by the Special Judge, whereby it was found that there was no objection for his client to travel. 3. Mr. Vivek Kumar Singh hands up letter dated 23rd April, 2025 issued to petitioner and submits, the passport was impounded on reason of suppression. It is in safe custody. Petitioner can apply for release of his passport. Petitioner can obtain online appointment for getting release of his passport. 4. Petitioner must make online application for release of his passport. Necessary information is to be uploaded in the online application. Petitioner may also communicate certified copy of this order and newly made online application reference to Regional Passport Officer, Passport Office Complex, Vipin Khan, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow 226010. The Regional Passport Officer is accordingly added as respondent no. 3. Petitioner has liberty to cause the amendment in Court to be countersigned by Court Master. Upon added respondent receiving information on the online application as well as communication directed above, petitioner's application for release of his passport is to be considered and also the passport released/returned or reasons for rejection of the application made known to petitioner within four weeks thereafter. 5.
