Side) COMMON ORDER These Criminal Original Petitions are filed seeking speedy disposal of the case in Spl.C.Nos.4 and 3 of 2020, respectively. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners, who are accused in Spl.C.Nos.4 and 3 of 2020 had filed these petitions stating that the F.I.R. in this case come to be registered in the year 2015. Four years thereafter charge sheet filed. Now the case is kept pending for the past 5 years without any progress. The petitioners are public servants. Due to the pendency of the above case, their career prospects is greatly affected. Hence, sought for a direction. 2/5 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis Crl.O.P.Nos.9849 & 9928 of 2025 3.The learned Government Advocate submitted that before the trial Court 51 cases pending under the Prevention of Corruption Act. There are totally 27 witnesses in Spl.C.No.4 of 2020 and 24 witnesses in Spl.C.No.3 of 2020 listed. The prosecution is ready to produce the witnesses. Now the case is posted on 09.04.2025 for examination of LW1 to LW3. The petitioners shall not take adjournments, proceed with the trial and cross examine the witnesses then and there.
