Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner's Thirumana Mandapam was established in the year 1993 by obtaining requisite permission from the concerned authorities. During the seasons, which are not conducive for marriage, the Mandapam will be used by textile owners and other retail sellers to sell their products. This being the case, the second respondent has issued an order dated 16.10.2015 wherein directing the petitioner as well as owners of other Thirumana Mandapams not to engage any commercial activities such as selling of textile goods and readymade garments and if such sales is found, the respective Mandapams will be closed. Challenging the said order dated 16.10.2015, the petitioner has come forward with the present writ petition. 3. Learned standing counsel appearing for the second respondent submitted a written instruction of the Inspector, Rasipuram Police Station, Namakkal District, wherein it is mentioned that the subject matter Kalyana Mandapam viz., Ayira Vysiar Thirumana Mandapam has been closed for the last five years. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record. 5.
