ORDER:
The present Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief:
“…to issue a Writ, Order or direction more particularly one in nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action on the part of Officials of Respondent No.4 in interfering in day to day Jaggery business activities of Petitioner the License Holder for Jaggery Trading at his Principal Place of Business, Premises No.15-291, Gooty RS, Gooty Town, Anantapur District, as illegal, arbitrary, against principles of natural justice and consequently direct the Officials of 4th Respondent to not to interfere in day to day Jaggery business activities of Petitioner the License Holder for Jaggery Trading at his Principal Place of Business, Premises No.15-291, Gooty RS, Gooty Town, Anantapur District and pass such other order.…”
2. Heard Sri N.Chandra Sekhar Reddy, learned counsel for petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Excise and Prohibition. 3. It is asserted in the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition that the petitioner is doing Jaggery business with registration No.37AEAPN3725PIZ4, dated 18.06.2025, with the premises No.15- 291, Gooty RS, Gooty Town, Anantapur District. Now, the respondents are interfering with the petitioner’s business activities. 4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader furnished written instructions dated 26.10.2025, addressed by the District Prohibition and Excise Officer, Ananthapuramu, which indicates that respondent No.4 is not interfering with the day to day business activities of the petitioner, as alleged in the writ petition. 4

In view of the said written instructions, the present Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the respondent authorities not to interfere with the day to day business activities of the petitioner, except by following due procedure as contemplated under law. There shall be no order as to costs.
