THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE NYAPATHY VIJAY WRIT PETITION No.29744 of 2025 ORDER: The present Writ Petition is filed questioning the in action of respondents in not releasing and paying the gratuity, encashment and earned leave and not paying the arrears of increments, allowances to the petitioner, as illegal and arbitrary. 2. The petitioner was initially appointed as Night Watchman on 01.10.1982 and, after rendering forty-seven years of service, retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation on 31.08.2025.
As the gratuity, encashment of earned leave, and arrears of increments have not been paid, the present writ petition is filed. 3. Heard Sri D.V.Sasidhar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Kappara Koteswara Rao, learned Standing counsel for the respondent No.5. 4. Sri Kappara Koteswara Rao, learned Standing Counsel, would submit that letters have been addressed for sanction of the amounts claimed by the petitioner and that the said amounts will be paid within a period of eight weeks. 5. n view of the submissions of the learned Standing Counsel, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents to pay the retirement benefits due to the petitioner within a period of two (02) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs. 4
