It is the grievance of the petitioner that 2 acres of land out of 2 acres 39 guntas in Sy.No.1 of K.Yedathore Village, H.D.Kote Taluk, has been utilized for the formation of sites under the Ashraya scheme, without acquisition or payment of compensation. 3. The attention of this Court is drawn to Annexure-G, which is a communication made by the Tahsildar, H.D.Kote Taluk, to the Assistant Commissioner, where these facts are narrated and a recommendation is made by the Tahsildar to the Assistant Commissioner for payment of compensation. 4. The writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to 1st respondent-Deputy Commissioner, Mysore District, to consider the grievance of the petitioner, get the information verified and call for the report, at the hands of the Tahsildar, H.D.Kote. If the facts reveal that 2 acres of land belonging to the petitioner have been utilized without acquisition and payment of compensation, then the - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:35061 WP No. 14607 of 2025 Deputy Commissioner shall put up the papers before the Secretary, Revenue Department, either for grant of compensation or for grant of alternative lands to the petitioner. The entire exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
