GP FOR REVENUE The Court made the following ORDER: This Writ Petition has been filed questioning the action of the respondent authorities in not considering the representation of the petitioner dated 19.07.2025. 2. Case of the petitioner is that she belongs to Scheduled Tribe – Koya Community. Since her forefathers i.e, from 1969 SRK, J WP No.21375 of 2025 2 onwards, the petitioner and other villagers nearly 50 families were doing agricultural operations over the tribal lands in an extent of Ac.70.00, situated in Survey No.733/2 of Mettagudem village, Buttayagudem mandal and eking out their livelihood, wherein the petitioner was in possession of Ac.1.59 cents. While so, in 2016 the land acquisition authorities allotted the said lands to Polavaram Project affected families. Questioning the same, when the petitioner and other villagers filed LTR cases before the Special Deputy Collector, the then Project Officer, ITDA agreed to sanction Ac.40.00 of land to them under land purchasing scheme. Thereafter, petitioner and others made several representations, the latest one is dated 19.07.2025, requesting the respondent authorities for grant of land under land purchasing scheme. But, so far the same has not been considered by the respondent authorities. Hence, she filed the present Writ Petition. 3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue. 4. Since the representation of the petitioner, dated 19.07.2025, is pending before the respondents, without going into the merits of the case, the respondents herein are directed to dispose of the said representation, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. SRK, J WP No.21375 of 2025 3 6.
