GP FOR SERVICES I The Court made the following: THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE NYAPATHY VIJAY WRIT PETITION NO: 32039 OF 2025 ORDER:- The present Writ Petition is filed questioning the action of the Respondent No.2 in not disposing of the Appeal filed by the Petitioner on 20.05.2025 as illegal and arbitrary. 2. The facts leading to file the present Writ Petition are as follows:- The Respondent No.4 had issued Charge Memos dated 12.06.2021 and 17.04.2023 to the Petitioner whereunder three charges were framed. Pursuant to the enquiry conducted thereof, the charges were held proved and the Petitioner was imposed a punishment of ‘postponement of one increment for a period of one year with cumulative effect on future increment and pension besides the recovery of misappropriated amount of Rs.60,842,50’. A statutory Appeal was filed by the Petitioner on 20.05.2025 before the Respondent No.2 and the same is pending. Hence, the present Writ Petition. 3. As the relief sought by the Petitioner in this Writ Petition is only disposal of the Appeal pending before the Respondent No.2, this Writ Petition is disposed of with following direction: (i) The Respondent No.2 shall dispose of the Appeal filed by the Petitioner on 20.05.2025, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three (03) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order; (ii) There shall be no order as to costs.
