GP FOR REVENUE The Court made the following: 3 THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE D.RAMESH WRIT PETITION NO: 31682 of 2025 ORDER: This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of the India seeking the following relief:- “to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the 4th respondent in rejecting the applications dated 20.02.2025 and 18.03.2025 submitted by the petitioner for issuance of family member certificate as illegal and arbitrary”. 2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that on 20.02.2025 the petitioner submitted an application to the respondent authorities for issuance of family member certificate, but without assigning any reason, the same was rejected. Again, the petitioner made another application on 18.03.2025 with all necessary documents, the same was also rejected by the respondent authorities without assigning any reason. 4. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the respondent No.4 to consider the application submitted by the petitioner for issuance of family member certificate, by issuing notice to the petitioner, if required, and pass appropriate orders. The said 4 exercise should be completed within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. It is needless to mention that the respondent authorities should communicate the orders passed by them to the petitioner herein. There shall be no order as to costs.
