1. With the consent of the parties, mater is heard finally. 2. This writ petition has been preferred under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking following reliefs:

“10.1 That, the Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue a writ or direction, directing the respondent authorities to correct the date of birth of the petitioner in the Aadhar Card from 04/04/1980 to 02/04/1980 after accepting the documents i.e Date of Birth Certificate, Bank Passbook and Driving licence etc with in stipulated time as this Hon'ble Court deems fit. 10.2 Any other relief, which may be deemed fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case, may also be allowed. An affidavit is filed herewith.”

Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that petitioner has been provided with Unique Identification number i.e Aadhar number 5677-1199-7888, however, due to mistake on the part of the operator, date of birth of petitioner has wrongly been recorded as ‘04/04/1980’ in place of ‘02/04/1980’. After realizing the mistake, petitioner has made several efforts to get it corrected, but till date the same has not been corrected in the Aadhar Card, hence, petitioner has came-up before this Court with aforesaid prayer. 4. Learned counsel for the respondents contended that respondents- authorities are ready to correct the DOB of the petitioner in the Aadhar Card. 5. Heard learned counsel for the parties. 6.
Considering facts of the case, nature of relief, submissions of counsel for the parties, this writ petition is disposed of at this stage directing the petitioner to submit an application in the prescribed
3 form before the concerned respondent-authority alongwith all relevant documents (birth certificate, identity card, 10th class marksheet, marriage certificate, etc,) and in-turn respondent- authority concerned shall issue the new Adhar Card and change the DOB of petitioner therein from 04.04.1980 to 02.04.1980, subject to verification of the documents.
