This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief: “to issue Writ order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declare the action of respondents in not considering the representation dated 17- 03-2025 i.e. for allotment of land upon payment of market value i.e. land to an extent of Ac 1.20 Cents in Sy. No. 354/1 of Kavetigaripalli, Pulicherla Mandal, Chittoor District as illegal, arbitrary and in violation of Articles 14, 21 and 300-A of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents to consider the representation dated 17-03-2025….” 2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for the respondents. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner made a representation dated 17.03.2025 seeking allotment/grant of patta, upon payment of market value, in respect of the subject property admeasuring Ac.1.20 cents in Sy. No.354/1 of Kavetigaripalli Village, Pulicherla Mandal, Chittoor District, on the basis of her long possession. Even after receipt of the said representation, the respondent authorities have neither considered the same nor passed any orders thereon. Hence, the present writ petition. 4. On the other hand, the learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submits that the subject property is Government land classified as “Bandidari” and further states that the petitioner has encroached upon the subject land by constructing a room thereon. 5. Considering the above submissions, this Court is not inclined to go into the merits of the case, as the application submitted by the petitioner is pending before the concerned authorities. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent authorities to consider the petitioner’s representation dated 17.03.2025 and examine the feasibility of grant of patta, if any, in accordance with law, and pass appropriate orders as expeditiously as possible. No costs. Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition shall stand closed. ________________________ JUSTICE D.
