The Court made the following: :: ORDER :: The above contempt case is filed complaining about the violation of the order dated 09.12.2024 in W.P.No.28739 of 2024. 2. Heard learned counsel appearing on either side. 3. W.P.No.28739 of 2024 is filed to declare the action of respondent No.1 in not passing orders on the resignation submitted by the petitioner dated 12.07.2024, as illegal and arbitrary. 4. By order dated 09.12.2024, the aforementioned writ petition was disposed of, directing respondent No.1 to pass appropriate orders on the petitioner’s resignation dated 12.07.2024, strictly per the Rules. Thereafter, the Director of General of Police, by proceedings in Rc.No.157/G2/2024, SRS,J C.C.No.178 of 2025 dated 05.02.2025, accepted the petitioner's resignation, subject to the outcome of W.P.No.8597 of 2021. Learned counsel for the petitioner endorses the same. 5. Thus, as seen from the proceedings of the Director General of Police, as referred supra, the resignation of the petitioner was accepted, subject to the outcome of W.P.No.8597 of 2021. The order in W.P.No. 8597 of 2021 has been complied with. Hence, this Court does not find any violation of the order dated 09.12.2024 in W.P.No.28739 of 2024. 6. Given the facts and circumstances of the case, the Contempt Case is closed. No order as to costs.
