The Court made the following ORDER:
The present Contempt Case is filed alleging violation of the orders dated 22.10.2021 in Writ Petition No.24080 of 2021. In the light of the orders passed in the said writ petition, the petitioner’s application dated 17.8.2021 for mutation of his name in the Revenue Records was required to be considered.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that as the respondent authorities failed to take necessary action on the petitioner’s application referred to above, the present Contempt Case is filed.

Mr.S.Satish, learned counsel representing Mr.P.Subash, learned counsel for the respondents, while drawing the attention of this Court to the material filed along with the reply affidavit of the respondent No.2, submits that pursuant to the orders dated 22.10.2021, the application of the petitioner was considered and the same was rejected on 23.5.2022. He submits that a copy of the said proceedings was sent to the petitioner through registered post, but the same was returned with an endorsement
“addressee refused”. In view of the same, he submits that there is no disobedience on the part of the respondents and accordingly urges for dismissal of the Contempt Case.

Though the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks to make further submissions, this Court, in the light of the material available on record as also in view of the fact that no rejoinder is filed to the reply affidavit dated 26.7.2022, is inclined to dismiss the Contempt Case, as no case is made out.
5. Accordingly, the Contempt Case is dismissed. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
