The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying as under:- “i) To grant the refund amounting to Rs.25,17,047/- determined vide order dated 22.01.2025 /s 143(1) of the Act along with interest for delayed issue of refund u/s 244A of the Income Tax Act.” 2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that soon after the present petition was filed, the amount of ₹25,17,047/- was refunded. However, the said refund was credited on 10.03.2025. He further submits that since the disbursal of the refund is delayed, the petitioner is also entitled to interest. 3.
