The Court Made the Following Order: The instant petition under Section 528 of the BNSS has been filed by the Petitioner herein, seeking extension of time granted by the learned II Additional Sessions Judge Guntur vide order dated 11.09.2024 in Crl.M.P.No.454 of 2024 in Criminal Appeal No.166 of 2024 for deposit of 20% of the compensation amount before the learned Special Judicial Magistrate of First Class for Prohibition & Excise (Junior Division), Guntur. 2 2. Heard Sri A.Venkata Durga Rao, learned counsel for the petitioner and Ms K. Priyanka Lakshmi, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor on behalf of the State/respondent. 3. Learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that because of his poor financial condition the petitioner could not obey the condition of depositing 20% of the compensation amount as directed by the appellate Court. 4. Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor would submit that the Court may pass appropriate orders. 5. Considering the submissions made, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. However, the Petitioner is directed to deposit 20% of the compensation amount as directed by the learned Appellate Court by 25.11.2025, failing which, this order shall stand cancelled.
