None appears for the petitioner. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for School Education, appearing for the official respondents, is present.
2. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for School Education appearing for official respondents has placed on record written instructions, dated 11.11.2025, which, inter alia, stated that the petitioner, who claims absorption in aided post has retired from service on 31.07.2016, and further that even the said 5th respondent School has surrendered the aided post in favour of the Government in pursuance to G.O.Ms.No.50, School Education (PS) Department, dated 17.08.2021.

3. In view of the aforesaid surrender made on 26.09.2021, question of absorption of petitioner does not arise.
4. In view of the subsequent developments, the writ petition stands dismissed for non-prosecution. No order as to costs.
As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending consideration, if any, in this case shall stand closed.
