This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for:
“.... a Writ of Mandamus declaring the actions of Respondents 1 to 3 in preventing the Petitioners from entering their own property i.e.. agricultural property admeasuring Ac. 8.05 cents situated in Sy. No. 701/4 and 702/3 Rachavertivaripalle, Nimmanapalle Mandal, Chittoor District, Andhra Pradesh as illegal, arbitrary, and unconstitutional and consequently direct Respondents No. 1 to 3 not to provide any police protection to Respondents 4 and 5 that would restrict the Petitioners access to and peaceful enjoyment of their own property.”

3. Sri P.Ajay Babu, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, would submit that the Police are not interfering in the civil disputes between the parties.
4. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, Police are directed not to interfere with the civil disputes between the parties, except under due process of law. There shall be no order as to costs.
