2 Hon’ble Shri Bibhu Datta Guru, Judge Order on Board 27/02/2025 Heard. 1. By the present writ petition, the petitioner, who is owner of land bearing khasra No. 25/1, P.C. No. 31 situated at Mauja Village Salpha, Tehsil Pathariya, District Mungeli is seeking a direction towards the respondent authorities to release the amount of compensation awarded to him by supplementary award dated 22.02.2024 (Annexure P-4). 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the land of the petitioner has been acquired since 2010-11 and used for construction of National Highway, however the compensation towards the said land has not been released to the petitioner till date. 3. Learned counsel appearing for respondent No. 1 referring to Para-9 of their reply submits that the compensation amount has already been determined by the learned CALA and the amount has been approved and deposited before the CALA and it is now for respondent No. 2 to disburse the amount to the petitioner in accordance with law. 4. Learned counsel for respondent No. 2 submits that the grievance of the petitioner will be looked into and award
3 amount will be disbursed to the petitioner after examining and verifying the actual amount within 30 days. 5. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the reply of respondent No. 1. 6. Perusal of the reply of respondent No. 1 shows that the compensation amount has been approved and deposited before CALA. 7.
Considering the same, it is directed that respondent No. 2 shall verify the ownership of the petitioner and if petitioner’s land has been acquired and compensation has been awarded towards the petitioner, the same shall be disbursed within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, in accordance with law. 8. With the aforesaid observation, the petition stands disposed off. 9. The petitioner is at liberty to apprise respondent No. 2 about the order of this court. Sd/-
