JUDGMENT: (per Hon’ble Sri Justice Ravi Nath Tilhari)
Heard Sri P.V.Venkata Ravi Sankar, learned counsel appearing for the appellant through virtual mode.
2. This appeal was filed by the husband. He had filed HMOP No.49 of 2022 in the Court of the Senior Civil Judge at Kadiri seeking divorce under Section 13(1)(ia) of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955. The same was dismissed on 07.08.2024 and challenging the said decree, the present appeal was filed. The respondent is the wife.
3. On 24.09.2025, a Coordinate Bench passed the following
order:
“ As the learned counsel for the appellant agreed for referring the matter to the mediation, the Registry is directed to send the file to the A.P.High Court Mediation Centre, High Court of A.P., Amaravati, for mediation. Both the parties shall attend the mediation proceedings on receipt of the notice from the A.P. High Court Mediation centre, Amaravati. List the matter after receipt of the mediation report from the mediators.”
4. A report, dated 03.11.2025 in Roc No.1037/APHCMC/2025, from the Director (In-charge) of the Mediation Centre of this Court has been received. As per the

said report, which also contains the report of the mediator, who conducted mediation that, both the parties mutually agreed to dissolve their marriage by way of divorce during the mediation proceedings. The same was recorded and was duly signed by both the parties as also the mediator. The same is on record.
5. In view of the report of the mediator and the mutual agreement between the parties as recorded therein, this appeal is disposed of finally, providing that, the parties may take recourse before the appropriate forum for dissolution of their marriage by way of mutual consent.
6. The C.M.A stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
7. The aforesaid report dated 03.11.2025 shall form part of this order.
