By way of the present writ petition, the petitioner is aggrieved by the declaration of result dated 20.05.2025 passed by respondent No. 1, whereby the respondent authority have erred in the results of the election and in a prejudiced way have declared respondent No. 2 as the winning candidate in the election of the Chairman/President of the Chhattisgarh State Hajj Committee. 2 by selectively addressing the votes as valid and invalid. The respondent authority have also caused impediment in the election process by deliberately omitting the signature of the petitioner after completion of the election, hence significantly tampering with the outcome of the result.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submit that the respondent authority have wrongly calculated and in an abitrary manner have made the present petitioner lose the election by wrongful counting of votes and systemic malaise in the process of election, thereby causing significant discrepancy as to the election result. Therefore the petitioner after receiving the relevant documents under the Right to Information Act being aggrieved by the outcome of the election proceeding dated 20.05.2025 made a complaint/objection to the Principal Secretary of the Chhattisgarh Government, Tribal and Schedule Caste, Backward Classes and Minority Development Department Raiput, till date the same has not been considered and decided. Therefore he prays for considering his complaint/objected dated 01.07.2025 (Annexure P/6)

Learned counsel for respondents submits that in view of the limited prayer made by the learned counsel for petitioner seeking direction to respondent-authorities to consider the pending complaint dated 01.07.2025, he is having no objection to the limited prayer and pending complaint/objection dated 01.07.2025 will be considered in accordance with law.
4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the material available on record.
5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case instead of keeping
3 this petition pending, I find it appropriate to dispose of the same at this stage directing the respondent No. 1 to consider/decide the complaint/objection of the petitioner (Annexure P-6) dated 01.07.2025 in accordance with law/rules/regulations as expeditiously as possible after giving opportunity of hearing to the concerned parties.
6. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed anything on the merits of the case.
