GP FOR REVENUE The Court made the following: 3 THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE D.RAMESH WRIT PETITION NO: 31423 of 2025 ORDER: This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of the India seeking the following relief:- “to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents, particularly the 3rd respondent in not considering the report sent by Tahsildar, Lakkireddypalli Mandal on 30.01.2024 as illegal and arbitrary”. 2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that despite sending the report to the Revenue Divisional Officer, Rayachoti by the Tahsildar, Lakkireddypalli Mandal on 30.01.2024, the 3rd respondent has not considered the said report of deletion of the subject lands from notional Khatha and include in the list of freehold rights as the lands are assigned prior to 2003. 4. Replying to the said contentions, the learned Assistant Government Pleader submits that as per Act 35 of 2023 (A.P.Assigned Lands (Prohibition of Transfers) Act 1977), the 3rd respondent cannot consider the report and cannot pass any orders. 4 5. Considering the said submissions, the learned counsel for the petitioners seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the writ petition with liberty to pursue other remedies. 6. Permission is accorded. 7. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. There shall be no order as to costs.
