The present petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking that the Bar Council of India / respondent no.1 be directed to pass order/s in ‘Withdrawal Petition No.02/2024’. 2. It is submitted that arguments in the said petition were addressed before the Disciplinary Committee of the respondent no.1 and the order was reserved as far back as on 24.09.2024. However, order in the matter has not yet been passed. 3. It is pointed out that after the filing of the present petition, another notice dated 08.04.2025 was received by the petitioner wherein the respondent no.1 has intimated that the matter shall be again heard on 09.05.2025. It is submitted by the petitioner that there is no occasion for a re-hearing of the matter since the hearing has already concluded way back in September, 2024. However, he submits that without prejudice to his rights and contentions, he will appear for the hearing scheduled on 09.05.2025 and make appropriate submissions / clarificatory arguments as may be required.
