The present Special Civil Application has been filed praying for a direction to the Settlement Commissioner to consider the application dated 14.12.2018 and subsequent application/representation of the petitioner and to take appropriate decision on the same. 2. Ms. Pooja Ashar, learned AGP submits, upon instructions from Mr. Khodabhai P. Patel, DILR, Class-II, Settlement Commissioner who is present in the Court, that the said application dated 14.12.2018 and subsequent application/representation of the petitioner shall be decided within a period of 5 weeks on its own merits and in accordance with law. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner has no objection to the same. 4. In view thereof, the respondent No.5 – Settlement Commissioner and Director of Land Records, Gandhinagar is directed to decide the C/SCA/14265/2022 ORDER DATED: 26/06/2025 application dated 14.12.2018 and subsequent application/ representation of the petitioner within a period of 5 weeks from the date of receipt of this order on its own merits and in accordance with law. 5. It is made clear that this Court has not gone into the merits of the case nor any opinion is expressed thereon. The present Special Civil Application stands disposed of accordingly.
