VENKAT CHALLA The Court made the following: 4 JS,J W.P.No.15069/2015 ORDER: Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel representing the respondents. 2. The petitioner owns approximately 3.19 acres of land in R.S. No. 41, situated in Tummalapalem Gram Panchayat, Ibrahimpatnam, Krishna District. The petitioner contends that the Corporation has altered the transmission line, thereby encroaching upon the petitioner’s land without adhering to the due process prescribed under the Act. Pursuant to a representation by the petitioner’s society, a meeting was convened at the office of the 11th respondent on May 19, 2015. 3. The petitioner has repeatedly submitted a representation dated 06.06.2016, informing the respondents that the construction of the transmission line prevents the petitioner from utilizing the property for its intended purpose at the time of purchase, resulting in the loss of a valuable asset. Consequently, the petitioner is entitled to compensation for both the tower and the corridor. 4. Furthermore, learned counsel for the petitioner has relied on the proceedings of the Collector and District Magistrate of Krishna at Machilipatnam, issued vide Rc.No.H7.1410/2013 dated 22.08.2015, which delineate the areas affected by the laying of the transmission line. 5. The learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that serial No. 5 under the tower area indicates the land belonging to the petitioner, and compensation has accordingly been paid to the petitioner. Regarding the corridor area, the petitioner’s name was not listed; therefore, the petitioner has submitted another representation to the 7th respondent, the District Collector, on 01.12.2025. 6. This Court, without delving into the merits of the case, deems it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition by directing the respondents to 5 JS,J W.P.No.15069/2015 consider the representation dated 01.12.2025, submitted to the 7th respondent by taking into account the earlier representation dated 06.06.2016, and to pass appropriate orders within four weeks of receiving a copy of this order. 7. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
