GP FOR SERVICES I (TG) The Court Made the Following Order:- This Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is filed for the following relief: “to issue an appropriate Writ, Order or Direction, more particularly one in the nature of a Writ of Mandamus declaring that the petitioner is entitled to have her seniority re-fixed in the cadre of Deputy Superintendent of Police (Civil) in accordance with the revised date of regularization 2 of 01-02-1998 assigned to her in the Inspector category in the final seniority list of Inspectors of Police (Civil) communicated by the 5th respondent vide Memorandum No. L&O/E2/1106/2014-16 dated 13-12-2016 and be considered and promoted as Additional Superintendent of Police (Civil) with all consequential benefits by holding the action of the respondents in not revising petitioner's seniority in the cadre of Deputy Superintendent of Police (Civil) consequent upon revision of seniority in Inspector category and thereby denying promotion to the petitioner as Additional Superintendent of Police (Civil) by erroneously mentioning her date of promotion as 20-02- 2013 in the list appended to Memorandum issued in Rc. No. 385/G3/2017 dated 24-04-2017 by the 4th respondent as being arbitrary, illegal, unjust and in violation of Articles 14 and 16 of the Constitution of India.” 2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the writ petition with a liberty to challenge the proceedings of the Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad and integrated Seniority list issued by the Government of Andhra Pradesh vide G.O.Ms.No.153 dated 05.10.2018. 3. Permission is accorded. 4. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. However, the petitioner is at liberty to work out her legal remedies in accordance with law.
