JUSTICE SHUBHA MEHTA Order 17/10/2025 This habeas corpus petition has been filed by the petitioner, who claims to be the partner in a live-in relationship with the corpus. Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner and the corpus share a loving relationship and live together as partners. [2025:RJ-JP:42585-DB] (2 of 2) [HC-379/2025] We have heard counsel for the petitioner and perused the material available on record. Upon careful consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case, it is observed that the petitioner has not alleged or established any illegal detention or wrongful confinement of the corpus by any person. It is further noted that the corpus is a major and has voluntarily gone with her father, which does not constitute unlawful detention under the law. In view of the foregoing, this Court is of the considered opinion that the present habeas corpus petition is not maintainable. In that view of the matter, this habeas corpus petition stands dismissed. (SHUBHA MEHTA),J (INDERJEET SINGH),J MG/108
