Contempt Petition No.1308 of 2025 before this Court by the petitioner. The petitioner has stated that originally, the idols of Krishnar, Radha and Rukkumani were available and later, the temple was demolished and when the new temple was consecrated, only the idol of Vinayagar was installed and the other idols were kept in the red iron box. When the petitioner was questioned about the same, he has given the following reply:
“3. I further submit that the idols of Krishnar, Ratha and Rukkumani are being kept under the red iron box and which were not displayed for enabling the worshiper to see the God. On 10.07.2025 pursuant to this Hon'ble Court order, peace meeting was conducted by the Revenue Divisional Officer, Ranipet whereof our community elders and private respondents in W.P.No.26272 of 2023 were participated, during the peace meeting the private respondents stated that as follows:- @eP;';fs; fpUc&;zu;. uhjh. 5. In the considered view of this Court, it is not possible for this Court to decide as to whether the idol of Krishnar, Radha and Rukkumani were originally available in the temple and thereafter, they were kept inside the box. What can be ensured is that the petitioner and others should be permitted to worship in the temple without being prevented. If this is taken care, that will substantially result in the compliance of the earlier order passed by this court.
The respondents have already taken a stand before this Court on 29.04.2025 that all persons will be permitted to enter into the temple and worship God and no one will be stopped from entering into the temple. 6. In view of the above, if the petitioner and others are permitted to worship in the temple and whatever idol is available, it will sufficiently take care of the grievance expressed by the petitioner and it will amount to complaince with the earlier order passed by this Court. Hence, this shall be ensured to the petitioner and others. 5/6 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
