1. Heard Shri Akash Sahu, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Shri Saumya Rai, learned Panel Lawyer for the State/respondent no. 1 as well as Shri Siddhant Tiwari,
learned counsel for the respondent no. 2.
2. The present petition has been filed with the following prayer:-
“1. That, this Hon'ble court may kindly be pleased to quash the chargesheet bearing final report no. 185/2025 dated 15.05.2025 (Annexure P/1) in FIR no. 119/2025 dated 28.02.2025 registered at P.S. City Kotwali, District Bilaspur C.G. filed against the petitioner for the offence under section 318(4) and 3(5) of B.N.S.
2. That, this Hon'ble court may kindly be pleased to quash the order dated 29.05.2025 taking cognizance of final report no. 185/2025.
3. Any other relief which this Hon’ble Court deems fit and proper may also be granted to the petitioner in the interest of justice.”
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the parties have amicably settled their dispute. A compromise deed,
3 executed on 04.09.2025, has been placed on record along with an affidavit of the complainant/respondent no. 2.
5. Learned counsel for respondent No. 2 does not dispute the fact of compromise arrived at between the parties.
6. We have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the documents.
7. In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the parties are directed to appear before the concerned trial Court within a period of two weeks. Thereafter the trial Court shall verify the compromise deed and, on an appropriate application being filed, pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a further period of two weeks.
8. Accordingly, the present petition stands disposed of.
