Mr. Gummala Parameshwara Rao, the learned Counsel for the Petitioner, submits that the petitioner has not committed any offence. He is innocent. He was falsely implicated in this case. He has got fixed abode. He is the sole breadwinner of his family. He is ready to abide by any conditions if this Court deems fit to impose by enlarging the petitioner on bail and it is urged to allow the petition. 3. Per contra, Ms. Akhila Naidu, the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor, vehemently opposed to grant of bail to the petitioner contending that the investigation is at a nascent stage. So far, only six witnesses have been examined. There are three similar criminal adverse antecedents reported against the petitioner. Hence, it is urged to dismiss the petition. 4. Heard the learned Counsel for the Petitioner and the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor. Perused the record. 3 Dr.YLR,J Crl.P.No.12320 of 2025 Dated 08.12.2025 5. As seen from the record, the allegation against the petitioner is that he was indulged in dealing with possession and transportation of 2.00 Kgs of ganja, of course it is not a commercial quantity. So far, only six witnesses have been examined. Some more material witnesses have to be examined. There are three similar criminal adverse antecedents reported against the petitioner. The petitioner was arrested on 21.10.2025. He has been in judicial custody for the past 48 days. The investigation is at a progressive stage. Hence, the request for grant of bail to the petitioner is not found convincing or reasonable at this juncture. 6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the gravity and nature of the allegations levelled against the Petitioner/Accused No.2, and his previous involvement in similar offences, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the Petitioner/Accused No.2 at this juncture. Hence, this Criminal Petition is liable to be dismissed. 7. In the result, the Criminal Petition is dismissed. As a sequel, Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed. _________________________ DR. Y.
