With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the present writ petition is taken up for final disposal. 2. The prayer made in the present petition is for directing the respondents to release the Royalty of the books of the petitioner published by respondent No. 2(Jammu and Kashmir, Academy of Arts, Culture and Languages) and also the compensation for the five missing manuscripts deposited by the petitioner for publication. 3. The respondents have filed the response admitting therein the claim of the petitioner in respect of the payment of Royalty of the books of the petitioner published by respondent No. 2. It is further stated that in respect of the payment of the compensation to the petitioner, the same can be considered out of pay and perks of the Chief Editor Gojri only after enquiries are held in accordance with proposal dated 27.06.2022 . 78 2 WP(C) No. 2121/2020 4. In view of the admission made by the respondents with regard to the payment of the Royalty to the petitioner for the books of the petitioner published by the respondent No. 2, the present petition is disposed of by directing the respondent No. 2 to pay an amount so determined by respondent No. 2 in lieu of the Royalty payable to the petitioner within a period of three months from the date a copy of this order is made available to him, failing which, the petitioner shall be entitled to interest at the rate of 6% per annum from the date of filing of this petition. 5. In so far as the claim of the petitioner for compensation is concerned, the respondents in view of the submissions made by them, in their response, may consider the same. 6. Disposed of.
