The present application is filed seeking leave of this Court to omit name of Shri Amjad Tak, IAS, the Commissioner, Food and Civil Supplies Department, Government of Arunachal Pradesh, who is arrayed as respondent No.4 in Contempt Case No.05(AP)/2024. It is the contention of learned counsel for the applicant that the said respondent is no more holding the said post, and therefore, he may not be a necessary party in the contempt petition. Accordingly, without entering into the merit of such contention, the prayer stands allowed. The name of Shri Amjad Tak, IAS, the Commissioner, Food and Civil Supplies Department, Government of Arunachal Pradesh be deleted from the array of parties in the Contempt Case No.05(AP)/2024.
