1. Heard the learned Counsel for the Petitioner.
2. The challenge in this Petition is to a judgment and Order dated 20 June 2025 passed by the Divisional Commissioner, Pune Division, in a proceeding bearing No.SR/45 of 2024, thereby removing the Petitioner from the office of Sarpanch and Member of Village Panchayat Nerli, Tal. Karveer, Dist. Kolhapur under Section 39(1) of the Maharashtra Village Panchayat Act, 1959.
3. Against the order of removal from the post of Sarpanch and the Member of the Village Panchayat, the Petitioner has a statutory remedy of appeal before the State Government under Section 39(3) of the Act,

4. No case for exercise of extraordinary jurisdiction, in the face of efficacious statutory remedy, is made out.
5. The Petition stands dismissed.
6. In the event the Petitioner approaches the State Government, the State Government shall decide the said Appeal on its own merits and in accordance with law.
7. It is clarified that, this Court has not entered into the merits of the matter.
