After arguing for a while, when the learned counsel for the petitioners was confronted with the maintainability of the instant petition, he submits that the petitioners will feel satisfied in case a direction is issued to the SDM, Ramnagar, Udhampur, who is arrayed as respondent No. 3 in the instant petition to dispose of the application dated 14.07.2025, which is pending before him. 2. On asking of the Court, Ms. Priyanka Bhat, Advocate appears vice Ms. Monika Kohli, learned senior AAG and submits that she is not averse to the prayer made by the counsel for the petitioners, provided the same is directed to be accorded consideration under rules and as per law. 3. With the consent of the learned counsel for the parties, the instant petition is disposed of at the threshold by directing the respondent No. 3 to accord due consideration to the application dated 14.07.2025 Serial No. 167 2 WP(C) No. 2181/2025 alleged to have been filed by the petitioners and is stated to be pending before him. Let the needful be done within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order along with the copy of instant petition and annexures contained therein, strictly under rules and as per law. The order which is likely to be passed by the respondent No. 3 be forwarded to the petitioners through registered post. It is made clear that in case the petitioners intend to place on record any document which can facilitate the said respondent in deciding the controversy at hand, the petitioners shall be at liberty to do the same. Further, the petitioners be provided due opportunity of hearing before taking final decision on the application. 4. In the aforesaid backdrop, the instant petition is accordingly disposed of along with the connected application.
