GP FOR AGRICULTURE (AP) The Court made the following: 3 THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE MAHESWARA RAO KUNCHEAM WRIT PETITION NO: 43932 of 2017 Order: This Instant Writ petition is filed by the petitioners under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following main prayer. “….to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents 4 and 5 in not releasing the petitioners salaries from 01.09.2015 to till date in favour of the 6th respondent to enable the 6th respondent to pay the salaries to the petitioners, in spite of releasing the salaries in respect of 10 employees out of 14 employees is illegal and void and opposed to Articles 14, 19 and 21 of the Constitution of India and the action of the respondents 4 and 5 is discriminate the employees who worked under their control as Security Guards total 14 members and consequently to direct the respondents 4 and 5 to release the petitioners salary forthwith from 01.09.2015 to till date with interest in favour of the 6th respondent to enable 6th respondent to pay the salaries to the petitioners.” 2. Even today also, when the matter is taken up for hearing, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioners, though the case is listed under the caption ‘for dismissal’. 4 4. In the circumstances, the Writ Petition is dismissed for non- prosecution. There shall be no order as to costs.
