THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE K SREENIVASA REDDY CRIMINAL ORD ER:- PETITION NO.538 OF 2025 This Criminal Petition, under Sections 480 and 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, has been filed by the petitioners/A3 and A4, seeking regular bail, in Crime No.321 of 2024 of Punganur Urban Police Station, Chittoor District. 2. A case has been registered against the Petitioners herein and others for the offence punishable under Section 20(b)(ii)(B) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act,1985 (for short {the NDPS Act'). 3. Case of the Prosecution, in brief, iS that, On 16.07.2024, on receipt of credible information, the Sub-Inspector of Police, along with his staff and mediators, proceeded to a house bear-lng D.No.29-320, Bhagathsingh Colony, Punganur town and found the accused in possession of 59.4Kgs of Ganja. The contraband was seized under the cover of mediators report. 4. Heard. Perused the record. 5. Petitioners herein were arrested on 16.07.2024 and since then they are in judicial remand.
