The prayer sought in the present Writ Petition is as follows: “It is therefore prayed that this Hon’ble Court may be pleased to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus : declaring the action of the respondents 1 and 2 in disconnecting the S.C. No. 5112505000271 of petitioner's house D No. 19-204, Jailkhana Street, Mittoor, Chittoor District without any notice and without any default in payment of monthly bills as illegal, arbitrary and consequently direct the respondents 1 and 2 to restore the petitioner's S.C. No.5112505000271 immediately in the interest of justice. 4. Though this Writ Petition is filed in the year 2014, it was listed only on three earlier occasions i.e., (on 01.07.2014, 07.07.2014 and 17.07.2014). The docket proceedings would indicate that this Court has not granted any interim protection nor has issued any interim direction for restoration of service connection to the Writ Petitioner. In this view of the matter, this Court is of the view that this Writ Petition has become infructuous as no cause survives. 5.
