The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Daltonganj Town P.S. Case No. 450 of 2024 corresponding to N.D.P.S. Case No. 32A of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 20(b)(ii)(B) of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the Court of learned Principal District Judge-cum-special Judge, Palamau, Daltonganj. 3. On 11.12.2024, at about 04:00 P.M., Daltonganj Town Police apprehended co-accused persons from Daltonganj Railway Station and seized about 1.966 kgs of cannabis from their joint possession. 4. It was submitted that the petitioner was not apprehended at the spot. It was further submitted that name of the petitioner has transpired in confession of apprehended co-accused persons. It was finally submitted that co-accused persons who were apprehended at the spot have been granted bail by this Court earlier. 5. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Principal District Judge-cum-special Judge, Palamau, Daltonganj in connection with Daltonganj Town P.S.
