For Petitioner : Mr.P.Krishnan For R1 & R2 : Mr.S.Udayakumar Government Advocate (Criminal Side) For R7 : Mr.B.Ram Kumar O R D E R This Writ Petition (Criminal) has been filed seeking to issue a direction to respondents 1 and 3 to take action based on the letter sent by the second respondent in Petition No.7067/2024/REV/TVL dated 18.06.2024 in connection with the petitioner’s representation dated 06.06.2024. 2. The case of the petitioner is as follows:- 2.1. The petitioner is the owner of the property measuring 5.30 ares in S.F.No.111/3, at Salamangalam Vilage, Kundrathur Taluk, Kanchipuram District, which was purchased through a registered Sale Deed dated 27.09.2016 vide Doc.No.2367 of 2017. 2/9 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.Crl.No.1716 of 2025 2.2. The title of the property traces back to Chellammal, who purchased the land in the year 1948 and thereafter, it devolved upon Parvathiammal and others. 2.3. One Neelakanda Iyer, who had purchased certain lands in S.F.No.110 & 111, had allegedly created an unapproved layout in the name of Sri Alamelu Mangapuram Colony and fraudulently obtained patta beyond the extent of land owned by him, in favour of several persons. 2.4. After an enquiry, the Sub-Collector, Kanchipuram, cancelled the bogus pattas on 09.02.2019 and restored the revenue records to the rightful owners, pursuant to which the petitioner was issued Patta No.4150. 2.5. Subsequently, it is alleged that certain individuals, with the assistance of revenue officials namely, Village Administrative Officer/R5 and Revenue Sub-Inspector/R6, fabricated documents and obtained a fraudulent patta in Patta No.4748 in S.F.No.111/35. 2.6. In this regard, the petitioner sent a detailed representation dated 06.06.2024 seeking appropriate disciplinary and criminal action against the officials concerned. Hence, the present petition has been filed. 3. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing on behalf of respondents 1 and 2 submitted that the representation of the petitioner dated 06.06.2024 had been forwarded to the appropriate authorities and based on the same, an enquiry was conducted. He further submitted that upon enquiry, it was found that respondents 5 and 6 had made certain alterations in online FMB (Collabland). Hence, the Revenue Divisional Officer, Sriperumpudur, has sent a report to the Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption (DVAC) recommending disciplinary action against the revenue officials involved in the alteration of the patta in the online records. 4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) has also produced the Status Report filed on behalf of respondents 1 and 2 before this Court in support of the above submission. Having heard the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) and upon perusal of the materials available on record, this Court is of the opinion that the representation of the petitioner dated 06.06.2024 has been duly considered and appropriate action has also been initiated against the revenue officials concerned. Therefore, no further orders are required in this petition. 6. Accordingly, this Writ Petition (Criminal) stands closed.
