ORDER:
The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking the following relief:
“…..declaring the action of the 3rd respondent in issuing auction notification dated 31.12.2024 for conducting public auction for the license hold rights @ SI. No. 3 leasing marriage articles, decorations, lighting, tents etc., while performing marriages as bad, illegal and arbitrary and violative of articles 14, 19 (1) (g) and 21 of Constitution of India and consequently set aside the same by directing the respondents to extend the petitioner’s

existing license period for a further period of 6 months and pass such other
order or orders…..”
2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Endowments, appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 and Mr.G.Ramana Rao, learned Standing Counsel, appearing for the 3rd respondent.
3. On hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner reiterated the contentions which are urged in the writ petition.
4. Perused the material available on record.
5. A perusal of the material available on record, it appears that the petitioner has submitted representation dated 09.12.2024 to the 3rd respondent temple authorities seeking extension of six more months’ time for continuation of their business in the temple area for recouping the loss sustained by him. But the 3rd respondent has not passed any order on the said representation. Thereafter, the 3rd respondent has issued the impugned auction notification dated 31.12.2024 calling for tenders for doing business in the temple area.
6. On hearing the submissions made by both learned counsel and on perusal of the record, this Court feels it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition directing the 3rd respondent to consider of the representation dated 09.12.2024 submitted by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders, in

accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible. Further directed that the auction may go on and the petitioner is at liberty to participate in the said auction.
7. With the above observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
