The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking following relief:- 10.1 That the Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authority i.e. respondent No. 1 & 2 to grant employment to the petitioner in lieu of land acquired by them. 10.2 That the Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased Digitally signed by JYOTI JHA Date: 2025.09.08 18:50:45 +0530 2 to direct the respondent No. 1 & 2 to decide the claim of the petitioner for grant of employment in lieu of land acquire by them within stipulated time. 10.3 That the Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to call the entire record pertaining to the case of the petitioner. 10.4 That this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to pass any other order(s) or direction (s) as this Hon’ble Court may deem fit and proper in the interest of justice, equity and good conscience; 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is aggrieved by the in-action of the respondent authority while claim of the petitioner for grant of employment in lieu of land acquired by the respondent authority i.e. respondent No. 1 and 2 is not till decided. The petitioner has applied for employment with the consent of other family members in lieu of land acquired by SECL Authority in the year 1983- 84 and along with necessary documents on 19.07.2016 (Annexure P/2). However, the claim of the petitioner is still pending, hence this petition. 4. Learned counsel for respondents submits that in view of the limited prayer made by the learned counsel for petitioner seeking direction to respondent-authorities to consider the pending claim dated 19.07.2016 (Annexure P/2), he is having no objection to the limited prayer and pending claim dated 19.07.2016 will be considered in accordance with law. 5. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the material available on record. 6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case instead of keeping this petition pending, I find it appropriate to dispose of the same at this stage directing the respondent No. 2 to consider/decide the 3 claim/application of the petitioner (Annexure P-2) dated 19.07.2025 in accordance with law/rules/regulations as expeditiously as possible within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 7.
