Angadi, learned counsel for the petitioner and Smt.Girija S. Hiremath, learned High Court Government Pleader for the State/respondent. 2. Petitioner is the wife of deceased who committed suicide. Petitioner has approached this Court under Section 482 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 and obtained an order of stay of further proceedings. 3. Under such circumstances, the apprehensions expressed by the petitioner that she would be arrested stands quelled at least till the disposal of the aforesaid petition. 4. Nevertheless, if the petitioner suffers an adverse order in Crl.P.No.100661/2025, petitioner may be - 3 - NC: 2025:KHC-D:5944 CRL.P No. 101244 of 2025 arrested by the Investigation Officer. Therefore, some protection needs to be given to the petitioner. 5. Taking note of the fact that petitioner is a lady and wife of the deceased, in the event of the orders are passed in Crl.P.No.100661/2025, which would be adverse to the interest of the petitioner, she shall not be arrested by the investigation agency for a period of 15 days during which time the petitioner can renew her request for grant of anticipatory bail. 6.
