The limited prayer that the petitioner makes in the present writ petition is for an appropriate direction to the respondents to consider and decide his application for settlement of Government land under the scheme of settlement floated by the State Govt. 2. According to the petitioner, he had moved an application/claim (Annexure P-1) for allotment of leased/patta of the Government land situated at Khasra No.682 admeasuring 0.822 hectare and Khasra No. 683 admeasuring 1.201 hectare total 2.010 hectare in village Banskunda PH No.08 Revenue Circle Patewa District Mahasamund (C.G). Learned counsel further contended that respondents No.2 & 4 may be directed to consider and decide application of the petitioner at the earliest. 3. Learned State counsel submits that since the application has been filed by the petitioner shall be duly examined and an appropriate decision in accordance with law shall be taken by the respondent authorities at the earliest. 4. Given the said facts and submissions made by the counsel appearing on either side, the writ petition as of now stands disposed of directing the respondents no.2 & 4 to consider and decide the claim/application of the petitioner (Annexure P-1) for settlement of land under the scheme of settlement applicable subject to verification and scrutiny of the claim in accordance with law at the 3 earliest preferably within an outer limit of 06 months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 5.
