JUSTICE V SRISHANANDA ORAL ORDER Heard learned counsel for the petitioner. 2. Petition is filed under Section 24 of the Code of Civil Procedure with the following prayer: “WHEREFORE, petitioner humbly prays that this Hon’ble Court may be pleased to- Transfer the case in M.C.No.112/2025 on the file of the II Addl. Senior Civil Judge and JMFC, Chitradurga, to the file of Principal Judge, Family Court at Davanagere.” 3. Respondent/husband has filed a petition in M.C.No.112/2025 for decree of divorce against the petitioner/wife on the file of the II Addl. Senior Civil Judge and JMFC, Chitradurga, and seeking to dissolve the marriage dated 22.12.2023. 4. In the present petition, petitioner/wife has sought for transfer of the aforesaid petition from the Court at Chitradurga to Davanagere on the ground that she is an unaided lady and - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:42449 CP No. 353 of 2025 cannot travel to Chitradurga as she is having less income from her avocation as a teacher in Podar School, Davanagere. 5. This Court heard the learned counsel for petitioner/wife. 6. Petition relief cannot be granted, in view of the fact that video conferencing facility is now available and petitioner/wife can avail the said facility effectively and, successfully participate in the proceedings at Chitradurga Court. 7. If an application is filed by the petitioner/wife seeking permission to participate in the proceedings through video conferencing, learned Trial Judge at Chitradurga is hereby directed to allow the said application. 8.
