The petitioner is seeking a writ of mandamus directing respondent No.2-Tahsildar, Kolar Taluk and District, to consider the representations dated 19.06.2019 and 15.05.2023 at Annexures-'C' and 'D' and enter the name of the petitioner in the revenue records based on the grant certificate dated 15.08.1984 at Annexure-'A'.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was granted land in Sy.No.135 to an extent of 3 acres 35 guntas of Achatnahalli Village, Narsapura Hobli, Kolar Taluk and District. However, the name of the petitioner has not been entered in the revenue records.

3. The writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-Tahsildar, Kolar Taluk and District, to verify the records and find out if grant was made in favour of the petitioner. If it is found from the records that the facts stated hereinabove are true, then the Tahsildar shall proceed to enter the name of the petitioner in the revenue records. The entire exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Ordered accordingly.
