This writ petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "(1) A writ order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding to the District Magistrate, Azamgarh (Respondents No. 2) to decide the application dated 28.03.2025 providing possession over the land allotted for housing site on Gata No. 2077m/0.021 kadi, approved by Assistant Collector on 21.10.1999 with regard to village Sadarpur Barauli, pargana-Mahul, tehsil-Phoolpur, District- Azamgarh, within some specific time bound period." 2. It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that the land for housing purpose was allotted wayback in the year 1999, but till date possession has not been given to the petitioner. Petitioner has moved an application before revenue authorities, which is pending consideration. 3. This Court, after going through the entire writ petition, finds that not a single averment has been made in the writ petition as to approaching this Court at such a belated stage after 26 years from the alleged date of allotment. 4. No case for interference is made out. 5. Writ petition is misconceived and the same stands dismissed.
