THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE K SREENIVASA REDDY CRIMINAL PETITION NO.556 OF 2025 ORDER:- This Criminal Petition, under Sections 480 and 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, has been filed by the petitioners/Al and A2, seeking regular bail, in Crime No.62 of 2024 of Araku Pol|lce Station, Alluri Sitharama Raju District. 2. A case has been registered against the petitioners herein and another for the offences punishable under Sections 20(b)(ii)(C), 25 read with 8(c) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act,1985 (for short {the NDPS Act') and Section 111 (2)(b) of the BNS. 3. Case of the prosecution, in brief, is that, on 12.09.2024, the accused were caught in possession of 50Kgs of Ganja at Rajadhani Junction, Araku Valley Village. The contraband along with other material was seized under the cover of mediators report. The accused Nos.1 and 2 were arrested and got remanded to judicial custody. 4. Heard.
